Aphria Inc. cultivates, processes, produces, markets, distributes, and sells medical cannabis in Canada and internationally. The company offers pharmaceutical-grade medical cannabis, adult-use cannabis, and cannabis-derived extracts and derivative cannabis products under the Solei, RIFF, Good Supply, Aphria, P'tite Pof, and Broken Coast brands. It serves patients and consumers through distributors and online. The company is headquartered in Leamington, Canada.
In April 2018, Aphria Inc. had an IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), raising over $100 million CAD.
In January 2019, Aphria announced that it will be buying Nuuvera for $826 million CAD. Nuuvera has a license to export medical cannabis into Europe and Israel, both of which are federally legal markets. It also has two supply agreements with Colombia’s Ministry of Health and the Canadian province of New Brunswick. Canada legalized recreational marijuana in October 2018.
